About The Event
Birds undertake their spectacular fall migration as the days get shorter and the weather slowly shifts toward winter. We usually concentrate on spring migration, but avian migration happens twice yearly as birds fly thousands of miles through the night. Some will stop to rest and refuel at the Sterling Nature Center, which will allow us to observe them. Enjoy the fall landscape as we seek out the birdlife of the Sterling Nature Center and celebrate NYS Pathways Through Natural History Weekend
