The Sterling Nature Center offers year-round programs and events along the shore of Lake Ontario in Sterling, New York. From guided nature walks and wildlife programs to seasonal events and workshops, there are many ways to explore and learn.

Programs are designed for all ages and provide opportunities to connect with nature, learn new skills, and spend time outdoors.

A Note About Registration
Registration is not required for most Sterling Nature Center programs and events. Registration is required for our Homeschool Programs. Registration may be required for some special events. For all other events, the registration option simply helps us get an idea of how many people plan to attend.

Building Hours: 6 days a week Tuesday - Sunday

Friends of the Sterling Nature Center

The Friends of the Sterling Nature Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the development, preservation, and programming of the Sterling Nature Center.
