About The Event

The November full moon is referred to as the Beaver Moon. This is when beavers finish their winter preparations and retreat into their lodges as winter settles in. We will seek out signs of the beaver and listen for other wildlife: owls, foxes, deer, or other creatures of the November night. Even if we do not see any wildlife, it will be an exciting way to observe the wetlands, woodlands, and fields by the light of the Moon. Snowshoes will be available if needed.
