In search of Hippos

This is not a search for owls, since when we go looking for them, we seldom find them.  Instead, we will be looking for hippopotamuses on this walk, even though three species of owls nest at the Sterling Nature Center, we will not be seeking them out but looking for hippos instead. This will be a long hike following the Forest Ecology, Buttonbush, Upland and Meadow trails not in search of owls nesting and roosting here. Pre-registration is required .
