About The Event

Drawing on her life as an Indigenous scientist, Robin Wall Kimmerer shows how other living beings offer us gifts and lessons, even if we’ve forgotten how to hear their voices. In Braiding Sweetgrass, she brings together Indigenous knowledge and scientific understanding to show how we can build a more respectful, reciprocal relationship with the natural world. Through stories of plants, animals, and people, she invites readers to see nature as a source of both knowledge and connection.
