About The Event

October is a transition month with enjoyable Lake Ontario sunsets, and the full moon's rising are great ways to experience the changing seasons. This full moon is the Blood Moon, a.k.a. Travel Moon, Dying Grass Moon, Hunter’s Moon, Harvest Moon, and the Sanguine Moon.  The light of the setting sun and rising Moon will provide an exciting setting for a night hike. You never know what we might see or hear, owls, foxes, deer, or other creatures of an autumn evening. Please remember to dress for the weather by Lake Ontario.
