




Volunteer Opportunity: Front Desk and Visitor Services at Sterling Nature Center
We’re looking for friendly, nature-loving volunteers to join our team at Sterling Nature Center’s Interpretive Center. Help visitors feel welcome, share your knowledge, and support daily operations.
What You’ll Do
As a Front Desk and Visitor Services volunteer, you’ll be the first person visitors meet. Your role includes

Greeting visitors and making them feel welcome.

Answering questions about the center, exhibits, and trails.

Helping in the visitor shop (basic math skills needed).

Sharing your enthusiasm for nature and our mission.
Volunteer Shifts
The Interpretive Center is open Wednesday through Sunday. Volunteer shifts are:
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
