About The Event
The Sterling Nature Center’s annual spring beach clean-up is your opportunity to think globally and act locally. We are partnering with the Great Lakes Cleanup and Tobacco-Free CNY to protect our local waterways within the Great Lakes Basin.
This year’s event will also focus on tobacco litter, and it’s a great chance for the kids to join in and help.
Visit GreatLakesCleanUP.org for more opportunities to help keep our water clean. Bags and gloves will be available, along with additional cleanup supplies provided by our partners, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Please dress for the weather, as the lakeshore can be cooler and windier than inland this time of year.
