About The Event

Have you ever wondered what makes cattails so special? Join us as we explore one of the most common plants found in wetlands and discover the many ways people and wildlife use them.

We'll learn fun facts about cattails, look for wetland wildlife, and try our hand at cattail weaving. This hands-on program is a great way to learn about the plants and animals that call wetlands home while creating something to take with you.

Ages 6-13 • August 8 • 10:00-11:30 AM

Come explore the world of cattails with us! 🌿🦆
