About The Event

World Migratory Bird Day - Drink Your Tea! May 11 We are taking the advice of the eastern towhee and drinking our tea while having a day of birding and learning opportunities for you (the song of the eastern towhee seems to say, “drink your teeee”). There will be tea to drink, opportunities to discover more about birds and migration, birding stations along the trails, and a bird bingo scavenger hunt for all ages. Armchair birding and guided bird walks discussing tips on identifying birds by sight, and song will take place. Bring your mug or purchase a Sterling Nature Center one for $10. A variety of herbal, black, and other teas will be available. Ongoing throughout the day: Self-guided Birding Stations, Bird Bingo Scavenger Hunt, Bird Coloring Pages, Tea to Drink; Morning Bird Walk & Tea at 7 am; Armchair birding & Tea from 10 am-2 pm; Evening Chorus Bird…

   The trails are open from Dawn to Dusk 

            BUILDING HOURS

Wednesday  -Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.

 Admission and parking is free.
